Photo Gallery | Four arrested on drug charges in Lee County

LOACHAPOKA, AL (WSFA) - Four people are behind bars in Lee County after a search warrant was served at a Loachapoka apartment and authorities found marijuana, cocaine and stolen property inside the residence.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, a search warrant was served at an apartment in the Love Way Complex on November 4, 2011. Four people, 39-year-old Corey Nelson Black, 53-year-old David Lee Love, 25-year-old Arthur Lewis Bailey II and 36-year-old Mario Prince were all arrested on drug related charges.

Brock, Love and Bailey, the owners of the apartment, were each charged with one count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana in the First Degree. Prince, an Opelika resident, was charged with one count of Possession of Marijuana in the Second Degree.

Law enforcement recovered marijuana, crack cocaine and property they believe to be stolen (a shotgun, four flat-screen televisions, four cell phones, four laptop computers, two playstation games, one think pad, two iPods, two video surveillance cameras and $328.00) from the property.

Both Brock and Bailey are being held in the Lee County Detention Facility on $6,000 bond each. Prince and Love have already posted bond.

Authorities believe these items were taken after a series of burglaries and thefts spanning the last six weeks in the Loachapoka/West Lee County area.
