MAX Celebrates Grand Opening of Lee County Branch, Announces Winners of $10,000 Charity Giveaway

(Opelika, Ala.) — MAX celebrated the grand opening of its first Lee County branch with a
ribbon cutting ceremony in Opelika today.


The state-of-the art smart banking center is located at 3021 Frederick Road. It features lobby
and drive-thru service, and serves members in Opelika, Auburn and surrounding Lee County
communities.


The newest branch marks MAX’s first expansion into East Alabama and its 14th location
statewide. Thirteen other MAX branches are in Central Alabama, with MAX’s corporate
operations headquartered in Montgomery.


“We know the residents of Lee County have lots of choices when it comes to financial
institutions, but they have not yet experienced a full-service, community-minded financial
institution like MAX,” said Matt Cox, MAX’s new Opelika member service manager . “MAX is
bringing smarter banking to the great people of Opelika, Auburn and Lee County.”

'The Brickyard' coming to Phenix City

'The Brickyard' coming to Phenix City

On Friday September 22, 2012, NLP Properties, LLC completed the purchase and closed on the 90 acres that is known as The Brickyard project.  This now completes the zoning as approved by the City of Phenix City. (Master Plan attached)

The Brickyard will serve as a hub for the tremendous opportunities being created in the area. This project represents the future of growth here in Phenix City and the entire surrounding area. New businesses will create new employment with both construction and permanent jobs. 

The Brickyard will mark another milestone in creating economic vitality along the Chattahoochee River without costing the taxpayers.
